Dimensions

Paintings are roughly 12"x12" on hand-cut Arches Gran Fin Cold Pressed watercolor paper. This includes about an inch border of white space left on each side to 'frame' the image.

Care Instructions

Keep paintings on paper away from moisture, direct sunlight (sun hitting the painting). Oil or debris on your finger can mark the paper so hold by the edges wherever possible. Left unframed, paintings can safely be leaned against objects on a shelf or desk. Paintings can also be framed under glass.

About the Series

I spent most of summer 2022 listening to Florence + the Machine's "High as Hope." These are the 10 paintings that came out as I listened to each of the tracks on repeat.

Much more atmospheric and abstract than I typically work, each is concretely inspired by the lyrics (and at times, title) of the track. You will find love, hope, and heartbreak mirrored in the images.
